FAQs
How do I know if this is right for me?
If you feel you are struggling in your day to day, feeling overwhelmed or stressed, struggling to connect with your child, or just want different ways of interacting in a relationship, NVR can offer you support. We accept referrals for children of a range of ages, with or without diagnoses, displaying a wide range of challenging behaviours. NVR can also be used as a preventative service to support parenting skills in general. If you are unsure whether NVR would be appropriate for your situation, please contact the team to discuss.
How many sessions will I require?
NVR Psychology offer a basic package of 10 sessions to ensure all elements of NVR theory are introduced. However, the number of sessions will vary based on your specific needs and the challenges you are facing. Alternative bespoke sessions are available. For some families a shorter or longer support package may be more beneficial. Your practitioner will discuss a prospective plan with you following your initial free consultation.
